Pujya Jalaram Bapa, the renowned saint of Virpur, Gujarat, is the source of inspiration to millions of devotees all around the world. Pondicherry the spritual land of the great yogi of our times “Shri Aurobindo” and “The Divine Mother” with several Gujarati families who held Jalaram satsangs and Bhajans at their residences by rotation felt the need to construct a temple of Pujya Jalaram Bapa to fulfill the aspirations of the Devotees of Pujaya Bapa in and around Pondicherry.

With the inspiration & blessing of Pujaya Bapa, SHREE JALARAM SATSANG MANDAL TRUST, PONDICHERRY was formed on 04^th February 2002 and registered on 25^th February 2002. The trust has taken up the construction of a Temple of Pujya Jalaram Bapa at Pondicherry. For this a 60 X 65 Feet plot has been purchased in the heart of the city, with generous donations from the trustes,relatives and devotees of Pujya Bapa.

The Bhoomipuja for the Temple was performed on 11-11-2002 and the foundation stone was laid on 30^thApril 2006.
